Resize a local PNG, JPEG or WebP image to a chosen width while preserving its proportions.
JavaScript is required to run the interactive tool. Open the tool separately if it does not load in the frame.
How to use it
Choose an image, set its output width and format, then press Run. Preview the result and use Download image to save it.
Example
For example, a 1600 × 800 image resized to 800 pixels wide becomes 800 × 400.
Frequently asked question
Will resizing remove image metadata?
Re-encoding can change or remove metadata. Check the downloaded file if metadata matters.
Limits and privacy
Files over 20 MB and images over 40 million pixels are rejected. JPEG has no transparency; transparent areas become white. Re-encoding can change metadata and quality.
