Media Tools
Image metadata viewer
Inspect image type, size and dimensions, plus selected JPEG EXIF fields when present.
JavaScript is required to run the interactive tool. Open the tool separately if it does not load in the frame.
How to use it
Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image to view local metadata. No file is uploaded.
Example
A JPEG can report orientation 6 and GPS presence without listing coordinates.
Frequently asked question
Does this show every metadata field?
No. It shows a documented subset; missing fields may still exist in the source file.
Limits and privacy
Input is limited to 20 MB and 40 million decoded pixels. JPEG EXIF inspection covers orientation, camera make/model, date and GPS presence from the first 1 MB; it does not expose every EXIF, XMP or PNG field.
Tool input is processed in a separate browser environment without advertising or analytics scripts. This page does not upload it to the service.
